Supporting

Encompass - Red2Green Fundraising

Encompass is Red2Green's Specialist training and support offer, helping organisations create workplaces and services where autistic and neurodivergent people can thrive.

Built on Red2Green’s experience, Encompass combines awareness raising, practical training and tailored support to help organisations build confidence, improve inclusion, and make lasting changes that benefit the whole workplace.

The Buckland Review of Austism Employment found that maintaining employment can remain a challenge for autistic people where support and adjustments are not in place. It also found that around one third of autistic employees felt unable to discuss their adjustment needs at all, and that of those who did request adjustments, over a quarter were refused.

Research from CIPD also shows that many workplaces are still not equipping managers well enough. In its 2024 Neuroinclusion at Work report, only 24% of employers said they provide training or guidance for line managers on how to support neurodivergent team members, and only 18% said their managers are trained in how to respond when someone tells them they are neurodivergent.

That means practical manager support can make a real difference, both for the employee and for the wider workplace.
